The Ghana Media Tech Expo 2025, held on 7th and 8th November at the Accra Digital Centre, has been hailed as a groundbreaking success — bringing together creatives, church media teams, and tech brands under one roof for two days of learning, innovation, and collaboration.
The Expo, convened by Azasoo Andrew, Founder of EncoreMedia, created a first-of-its-kind platform where photographers, videographers, content creators, and church media professionals could connect directly with leading global brands such as Canon, RØDE, Sony, YoloLiv, Osee, Zoom, Belsmile, and Impact Fotos.
🔹 Empowering Sessions
Across the Creator Stage and Church Media Zone, participants gained practical knowledge from industry experts including Dessy Ocean, Naa Akushika Quaye, Kwasi Asante Agyapong (Kweku Ananse), Lawrence Kayku, McBernard Akpabey, Godson Tetteh, Joojo Daniels, Dedza Dickson (Mr 3D), Paa Kwasi Adu Osei, Frank Osei, and Augustine Ameyaw.
Topics ranged from content creation tools and storytelling to church lighting, projection, sound, and the business of photography — bridging the gap between creativity and technology.
🔹 Exhibition & Demo Stage
The Exhibition and Demo Stage, which was free to the public, gave attendees a hands-on experience with the latest cameras, audio systems, livestreaming setups, and production tools.
The highlight included the Canon Meet-Up, where professionals explored Canon’s latest gear and discussed the future of imaging technology in Africa.
🔹 Collaboration and Impact
The event was powered by partnerships with Pent TV and PCG TV, alongside the support of numerous creative professionals, volunteers, and media entrepreneurs who helped make the Expo a reality.
Speaking after the event, Azasoo Andrew expressed his gratitude:
“The vision was to build a space where creatives, media teams, and brands could meet, learn, and collaborate. Seeing that come to life was truly inspiring. This is only the beginning — Ghana is ready for more.”
🔹 Looking Ahead
The Ghana Media Tech Expo 2025 not only showcased tools and technology but also sparked conversations about innovation, mentorship, and growth within Ghana’s creative industry. Plans are already underway for the next edition, with expanded sessions and regional events.
